The Ontario Public Supervisory Officers’ Association of dedicated system leaders are deeply committed to a vision for public education where all students and staff regardless of their social identities can truly thrive. We firmly believe that ethical and equitable leadership serve as the drivers for our school systems working to dismantle various forms of oppression and rectify historical disparities in student outcomes.

As system leaders, our actions are grounded in the principles of human rights, Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada: Calls to Action, informed by theories of decolonization, anti-racism, and anti-oppression.

We hold the conviction that education should serve as a powerful catalyst for positive change, nurturing inclusivity, fostering a profound sense of belonging, and ultimately enhancing academic achievement, mental health, and well-being for all students.
